This C86 is the flagship model and the latest high-end professional heavy duty tripod from Kingjoy. Made from 10x carbon fibre and aviation grade alloy, this tripod is built like a tank yet is light enough to carry up hills and mountains. One of the three legs has a comfortable foam hand grip which makes carrying the tripod easier, especially in cold conditions. Each leg section is extended with a twist lock grip joint which is weather sealed to prevent dust and sand from entering the thread. It comes with removable rubber feet which can be unscrewed and replaced with 4cm metal spikes (included). There is a hook on the base of the centre plate for handy hanging of accessories. This tripod has a levelling base, allowing you to level the top plate without having to adjust the legs. Simply pull down on the centre lever, unscrew, adjust, tighten. Due to the levelling bowl, it is not possible to add a centre column to the C86. If you would like a similar tripod with the option for adding a centre column, please check out the A86.
The C86 comes with or without a T40X ballhead – see options below.

Paul Harhen (verified owner) –
I have had the Kingjoy C86 Carbon Tripod (with the extra long stainless steel spikes) and the matching T40X Ball Head for over 6 months now, using the combination mainly for landscape photography here in Dorset. I must say that I am very happy, with their weight and the sturdiness. So much so, that I have got the Kingjoy 2-Way Gimbal Head (carbon version) too recently, which allows me to completely replace all my much heavier Manfrotto gear that I had being using for sports and bird photography.
