Compact Plate Head

This nifty tripod head is designed to be a lightweight alternative to a ball head when used on a C85 or C86 tripod. Weighing in at only 132 grams, this is not intended to replace a ball head, but to be used as an alternative when you want to travel super light. The only movement this head offers is pan (360 degrees). All other movements must be done via the levelling plate on the tripod. While this is limited to about 10 degrees in the up/down and tilt axis, this is usually more than enough with most situations. Please note that this head will not allow you to point the camera towards the ground or up towards the sky at steep angles. To use your camera in the portrait orientation, you must have an L bracket, otherwise only landscape orientation is accessible. Accepts standard Arca Swiss style plates (included).
